This application presents the US English version of Speech Sounds on Cue Lite, tailored specifically for users seeking assistance with speech articulation difficulties, particularly those affected by apraxia of speech or other related disorders.

For individuals speaking with Australian or British accents, it is recommended to opt for the Australian version.

Designed to enhance speech therapy treatment, this app integrates J. Rosenbek's integral stimulation approach with B. Hill's carrier phrase facilitation drills, focusing on increasing the intensity of treatment for individuals with apraxia.

The US adaptation features all audio and video material recorded by Terri Nichols, MS, CCC-SLP, a clinical consultant for Bungalow Software based in Virginia, who has also contributed to the Windows/Mac versions.

Notably, this free application is dedicated solely to the 'W' consonant sound. It offers comprehensive resources for producing the "W" sound and words that begin with it, thereby encouraging speech development even among those experiencing significant speech challenges.

The user-friendly iPad application comprises 39 videos, sound clips, and color photographs designed to assist both adults and children in articulating the 'W' consonant in isolation, as part of words, and within sentences. Recent updates have added features such as recording and playback functionalities, rhyming word suggestions, and randomization options.

This software is especially beneficial for individuals who require auditory and visual cues for sound production, including patients with motor speech difficulties stemming from speech apraxia (either verbal or oral). The application offers multimedia full-motion video cues that facilitate independent speech practice for individual phonemes as well as complete words.

Exercises within the app are structured to target individual words through 20 consonant positions. Each exercise provides:

Additionally, there are two full versions available (the original Australian version and the newer US version), which encompass 20 consonants and a total of 530 words/photos/videos.
